Sewing Classes
FASHION WORKSHOP
After many requests for sewing lessons geared to both children and adults, we opened a new sewing and fashion design school, located in Hanover, PA. Bi-weekly classes are held from October through May.
Numerous studies have found that sewing and design activities enhance creativity, self-esteem and aptitude in math and spatial relationships. Teens and preteens are less influenced by fashion trends when they can create their own looks. Simple sewing skills can also lead to quilting, home decorating, costuming and more!
eXpresSew owner, Sheila Zent has more than 30 years of professional experience working in sewing related fields including theatrical costuming, marketing and product development for the home sewing industry and industrial sample making for the apparel industry.
